Primary Partners
Unity Academy organise numerous activities and events in partnership with our primary partners. These include; Easter Art, where students make Easter cards using glass paints and wax resist eggs, Year 5 Literacy Projects involving a number of schools and the Unity English Department, Music Programmes across several schools, Enterprise Events and the International Children’s Book Day.
The Unity PE Department also runs numerous sporting activities throughout the year for students in different year groups. BTEC Sports students from Year 10 also organise and lead sessions on Healthy Lifestyles as part of the Junior Health Trainer Programme. Teams of students have been working in all our cluster primary schools taking in dance mats, funky cones and other equipment to inspire the young people to think about ways to improve their health and fitness.

The Academy also offers dedicated timetabled lessons in all subject areas for both years 5 and 6 to help students make the transition to secondary education.
